Service and Leadership Training  – SALT

Are you ready!

God calls all believers to a life of service, but…what does that actually mean? Life is full of opportunities to serve and lead through the example Christ gave us in scripture. SALT (Service and Leadership Training) is designed to challenge adult participants (ages 18+) to reinforce their faith, consider their calling, and apply themselves in fruitful ministry.

The conference includes plenary messages from God’s word, workshops (see available tracks below) geared toward practical application, classic camp activities, and free-time for fellowship. Get equipped to live out a life on mission for the gospel!

2022 Tracks (choose during registration):

  • Manuscript Study
    • Track Leader: Joel Puryear
    • Description: Responding to God’s call to service or leadership can seem daunting, overwhelming, and sometimes confusing. Fortunately, you aren’t the first person to feel that way! There are plenty of examples of people in the Bible who learned to take their cue cards from God. What better place to learn how to serve Him than from His word? Join us for an in-depth character study of prominent leaders from the Bible. This is a great choice for all first-timers at S.A.L.T – get a solid understanding of what leadership from God’s perspective is and looks like.
  • Study in Discipleship
    • Track Leader: Dan Kachikis
    • Description: Being a disciple and making disciples is a calling for every believer. Dan has a special interest in the studying and teaching biblical discipleship. He has written and published “Simply Disciples” as well as reading notes for the “One-Year Bible” to be used in discipleship groups. Come learn about discipleship from God’s Word!
