Service and Leadership Training
God calls all believers to a life of service, but…what does that actually mean? Life is full of opportunities to serve and lead through the example Christ gave us in scripture. Service and Leadership Training (SALT) is designed to challenge adult participants to reinforce their faith, consider their calling, and apply themselves in fruitful ministry.
The conference includes plenary messages from God’s word, track workshops geared toward practical application, panel discussions, classic camp activities, and free-time for fellowship. Get equipped to live out a life on mission for the gospel!

Track Options
- Manuscript Study: Responding to God’s call to leadership can seem daunting, overwhelming, and sometimes confusing. Fortunately, you aren’t the first person to feel that way! There are plenty of people in the Bible who learned to take their cue cards from God. Join us for an in-depth character study of prominent leaders in Scripture. This is a great choice for all first-timers at S.A.L.T to get a solid understanding of what leadership from God’s perspective looks like.
- Discipleship Training: Being a disciple and making disciples is a calling for every believer. Yet, it’s often overlooked or completely ignored. Starting with the great commission and fleshed out multiple times throughout the New Testament, discipleship is a critical component to our continued walk in Christ. Join us to learn about discipleship from God’s Word! This track provides an option for seasoned SALT participants who are looking for some practical help in making disciples.
- Existing Leaders: Are you already a leader at your local church, at camp, or in another ministry? This is the track for you! Serving the Lord can be challenging and exhausting at times. Join with other leaders in this track for a time of encouragement and training in how to mature into the leader God wants you to be. No matter your age, if you are leading in any facet of your life this track will be a great fit for you!
